I cruised along the Goleta Lemon Festival Car Show this year, and I did not see any lemons. I did however, drink some lemonade. Let me tell you, not only was the lemonade refreshing to drink, but it was also refreshing to think about. It reminded me about our current Real Estate market.
Yes, the interest rates we are seeing are putting quite a squeeze on the home buyer's market.
The good news is, like the ice inside of the cup o' lemonade, so too will these ice-cold Federal Reserve rates begin to melt. When they do, look out! The market is sure to get a little watered down then.
Until that happens, pucker up and make your sour face. Have a glass of lemonade and relax! Just know whether you are a buyer or a seller, these market fluctuations are organic. There are buyers and sellers who are ready now. No matter what the market is saying or doing, the timing is right, when it is the right time for you.
And always remember, when the Federal Reserve gives you lemons...
...well, you know what to do!
